Gold futures price rise
On Tuesday, gold futures rose by Rs 633 to Rs 54,150 per 10 grams as traders extended their position amid strong spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the April supply contract for gold rose by Rs 633, or 1.18 per cent, to Rs 54,150 per 10 grams. It traded for 10,819 lots. Globally, gold in New York rose 1.34 percent to 0 2,022.80 an ounce.
