Senior NCP leader Nawab Malik arrived at the Mumbai office of the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday morning for questioning, where he was interrogated by ED officials.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) Dawood Ibrahim has arrested senior NCP leader and Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik in a money laundering case. The arrest comes after Enforcement Directorate Nawab Malik was questioned on Wednesday morning in a money laundering case related to the activities of the Mumbai underworld.
ED has been interrogating the owner for more than six hours today. According to ED sources, the investigating agency is investigating the owner of a land transaction involving Iqbal Kaskar, brother of fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim.
Senior NCP leader Nawab Malik arrived at the Mumbai office of the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday morning for questioning, where he was interrogated by ED officials. According to news agency ANI, the ED team arrived at the owner’s residence on Wednesday morning and took him to the ED office with them for questioning.

According to media reports, around 6 a.m., ED officials arrived at Nawab Malik’s house, where he was interrogated for about an hour. After questioning him at home, officers took Nawab Malik with him to the ED office around 7.30 pm, where he has been interrogated since 8:30 am.
The ED had summoned Nawab Malik on a property charge alleging his involvement with the underworld. He was arrested in the case after a long interrogation. ED officials wanted him to investigate an underworld link case on a property.
ED suspects that people from the underworld may also be involved in the land owned by Nawab Malik. The ED conducted a search in Mumbai on February 15 and registered a new case alleging underworld activity, illegal purchase and sale of property and hawala transactions. The owner was then questioned.
The central agency Selim Qureshi alias Selim Fruit, the mastermind of the 1993 bombings, carried out raids in 10 places, including the late sister of Dawood Ibrahim, brother Iqbal Kaskar and relatives of younger Shakil. Kaskar, who is already in jail, was arrested by the agency last week. Eddie also interrogated Parker’s son.
