Gayle India Has published the results of the third quarter ending 31st December 2021 Accordingly, the company’s profit for the period stood at Rs 3,288 crore. On a quarterly basis, the company’s profit increased 14.6 percent. The company posted a net profit of Rs 2,863 crore in the second quarter of the same financial year.
The company’s revenue in the third quarter stood at Rs 25,769.8 crore. During this time both the company’s revenue and profits have been better than expected. Significantly, the CNBC TV18 poll estimated the company’s profit at Rs 2,473 crore and revenue at Rs 21,511 crore. During this period, the company’s revenue grew 19.8 percent on a quarterly basis.
If we look at different sections, the company’s natural gas revenue on a quarterly basis increased by 1.6 per cent to Rs 1,672.72 crore in the third quarter. Similarly, the petrochemical business revenue grew by 5 per cent to Rs 2,400.50 crore on a quarterly basis. The natural gas marketing department has been a major contributor to the company’s revenue growth. During the period, the company’s natural gas sales grew by 23.5 per cent on a quarterly basis to Rs 22,092 crore.
