AIMIM MP Asaduddin Waisi will introduce three bills in the Lok Sabha, including the right to water, while TMC MP Derek O’Brien will introduce a bill in the Rajya Sabha on effective management, prevention and preparation for the Corona epidemic.
A total of 172 private members’ bills will be introduced in the Lok Sabha on Friday (February 4) during the budget session of Parliament. Where 27 individual members will bring bills in Rajya Sabha.
According to a Hindustan Times report, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Waisi will introduce three bills, including the right to water, to provide an effective framework for realizing the right to water.
Also, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Derek O’Brien Corona will introduce a bill in the Rajya Sabha on effective management, prevention and preparation of the epidemic. At the same time, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Youth, Sports and Women’s Affairs may raise a bill on Friday.
Meanwhile, two people have been arrested for allegedly firing on the convoy of AIMIM president Asaduddin Waisi. OIC will raise the issue of his security breach and the attack on his convoy in Parliament today. The MP will also meet Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to discuss the issue.

In the wake of the incident, all AIMIM units will hold peaceful protests across India today against the attack on the Hyderabad MP’s car. The party workers will also submit a memorandum to the concerned district magistrates demanding a thorough investigation into the security breach.
Earlier, AIMIM MP Imtiaz Jalil on Thursday raised the issue of alleged firing on the car of his party chief Asaduddin Waisi in Uttar Pradesh and demanded stern action against the culprits. Jalil raised the issue while participating in the discussion of the motion of thanks on the President’s speech.
On Thursday, Asaduddin Waisi alleged that unidentified persons shot at his car while he was returning to Delhi from Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh’s electoral state. He said he was safe. According to YC, his car was parked near Chijarsi Toll Plaza on Hapur-Ghaziabad section of National Highway 24 when the incident took place around 6 pm.
