Aadhaar-PAN Link: According to the official notification, linking of Aadhaar and PAN card has become mandatory from April 1. If this is not done, you can link further with a fine.
Will be able to link to penalty after 31st March
We tell you that you can link Aadhaar and PAN card even after 31st March. However, you will have to pay a fine for this. Aadhaar and PAN cards can be linked within 3 months after April 1 with penalty. According to the notification, a fine of Rs 500 will have to be paid for the first three months. If you do not link Aadhaar and PAN card till 3 months i.e. June, then you will have to pay 1000 rupees as penalty.

Not only that, the Brokers Association has told SEBI that linking PAN with Aadhaar is an ongoing process, for which they have applied for an extension of 6 months. ANMI says accounts that are not able to link to Pan-Aadhaar by March 31 should not have their accounts suspended.
How to link Pan and Aadhaar
To link to Pan-Aadhaar, visit the Income Tax e-filing website. On the left side of the site page, you’ll find the Quick Links option. Here you have to click on ‘Link Aadhaar’ option. Here you have to enter your PAN, Aadhaar number and name. After providing this information, you will be sent an OTP. After entering OTP, your Aadhaar and PAN will be linked (Aadhaar-Pan Link). Keep in mind that the Income Tax Department verifies in detail whether your Aadhaar and PAN information is valid.
